2021 Preliminary Real Estate Valuations are now available.
Message from Rob Ogden, Lancaster County Assessor/Register of Deeds:
Over the past year, COVID 19 has brought challenges to us as individuals, as a community, and as a public office. You may notice that we have modified our business practices to limit personal contact and maximize social distance to keep our customers and staff safe during this pandemic. As the statutory responsibilities for the Assessor/Register of Deeds have remained, so has our goal to provide an exceptional level of service. We encourage you to use the features of our website to conduct online business with our office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.”
2021 Preliminary Real Estate Valuations are now listed for each property and are intended to reflect market value. Using the Property Search Bar at the top of the screen, access records by entering any combination of name, address, or Property ID or use the Advanced Search option.
Assessments for Residential and Commercial property are intended to reflect market value as of January 1, 2021, (75% of special value for Greenbelt Agricultural or Horticultural Land) and are based on local sales of similar property. If you have additional market information for our office to consider, we want to hear from you. Submit additional comments or information at the link below by February 15th:

Our appraisal staff has temporarily adjusted procedures to conduct property inspections from the view of the street or sidewalk, and staff will not attempt to contact property owners at their door. All appraisal staff can be identified by a clearly-marked blue safety vest, mobile tablet, and clearly-marked white Lancaster County vehicle.
